WE HELP COMPANIES BUY BETTER

SEE HOW FRDM SOFTWARE WORKS

Our Mission

FRDM envisions a world where buyers and sellers trade across value and values through a connected network that provides incentives to companies who share relevant data related to social, operational, and climate risk.
We see a world where transparent supply chains are a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Consumers and brands will use their collective buying power to develop resilient, transparent, and responsible supply chains that save time, money, brand value, people and planet. FRDM wants to be the nexus of this marketplace movement.

Our Truth

FRDM believes there is a better way to clean up supply chains. We believe that what gets measured gets managed. To reduce risk companies must do something they’ve never done before: map, monitor, and mitigate risks anywhere in their supply chain.
We believe this can be accomplished without hiring expensive consultants, spending endless hours in spreadsheets, or managing thousands of emails to suppliers. We believe technology can provide companies with a self learning and self-growing network of suppliers and sub-suppliers that can generate the answers customers need. And it doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated like most enterprise software. We fundamentally believe all companies, both buyers and suppliers, are motivated to share data only when it benefits their bottom line. We believe buying power is a superpower.

Our Story

HOW IT HAPPENED

Our founder Justin Dillon worked for years to build awareness of forced labor in supply chains by building technology for government, business, and media. The United States State Department partnered with Justin to develop an app called Slaveryfootprint.org to help consumers understand how slavery is connected to their everyday purchases. This work was highlighted by Google, The White House, United Nations, The Vatican, Harvard, Stanford, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue, CNN, MSNBC, and more. To date more than 33 million people from nearly every country in the world have used the app’s lifestyle survey to understand how their purchases are connected to modern slavery. Justin learned companies lacked technology to map their supply chains for human rights and climate risk, which led him to found FRDM which has been helping some of the world’s best brands build transparent and responsible supply chains in line with their company values.
